Another Lush Product?

Hello World,

I haven't done a Lush review for awhile? I thought I would do one today because, on Sunday I tried out a bath time product, I had never used before. Excited? Yes. Well no, I wasn't excited. I actually had no idea what I was buying when I picked it up, I was only going with it because it smelt really nice. We all have done it many times.

Luxury Bath Melts. I have never heard of them before and even though the staff are amazing at being friendly and having a chat with you in Lush, I have never even thought of asking what were Luxury Bath Melts. What are Luxury Bath Melts? Do they bubble in the bath or do they fizz up? Do I put it in a bath like a bath bomb or do I crumble it up under a tap. I am giving you an insight of how clueless I was over this Bath Melts, I have always stared at in the shops.
Thankfully Lush sticks instructions onto the packages. Because I would have just brought a product to just smell.

Dreamtime; ideal for an evening bath. Made with lavender and chamomile to soothe and relax the skin and mind before a fitful nights sleep. The instructions: run a bath at the perfect temperature and place the bath melt into the bath, watch it melt away. Leaving the water looking milky and you feeling smooth.

I actually really loved this new thing! I felt it worked wonders on me, I felt smooth, calm and most certainly relaxed. I am a new found lover of Bath Melts and of Dreamtime. Of course I picked it up on a whim and it has that herby, floral smell that I cannot pass up.

Whilst having the most relaxing bath of the century, I gave myself a do over... I gave myself a pick me up. As I was in the bath, I asked myself: What do I like most about myself? What is my favourite aspect of myself?
I found myself enlighten with how my list went. From one word to sentences and each beginning with; "I like..." or "I really like....". Until it became "I love.... this about myself"
Bathing is just another great place to self reflect. Believe me, I left that bath ready to take on a night time and the whole week of living. Although, slight warning by Wednesday I was in a slump for not breaking habits sooner. Reminder to myself, things take time.

Tinkerbell inspired Make-up.

Hello World,

Ok, I maybe a little behind the times, but I rarely watch TV. Only a couple of years ago I started watching a programme called Once Upon A Time. Recently I have taken up to watching the programme again and have just finished watching Season three. I am half way through Season four!

I have always loved the story of Peter Pan, the child that never grew up and Neverland. During Season three of Once Upon A Time, I became obsessed! Most certainly with Tinkerbell. Today, I decided to do a little Tinkerbell make-up inspired look.

I do not in anyway know what I am doing it when it comes to applying make-up. Please believe me when I say, I had a horrible time applying the gold eye shadow. It was that glitter dust stuff from Barry M and it just went EVERYWHERE! It's also an inspired look, so it not the same and has definitely got my twinge of a style in it.

Summertime Goals!

Hello world!

Awhile I have made a post about summertime goals. Which you can read from this post Here;
Well on Sunday 12th July, my sister and I embarked on a nice beach day.

With my favourite book and my all my art supplies, I relaxed at the beach and let the sounds of the waves crash over me.

What I eat....

Hello World,

Okay, so lately I have been trying out some new foods!

One of them being a grapefruit and we can officially declare I do not like grapefruit. There have been a few foods that I have been totally loving. One of them is avocado, avocado on toasted rye bread or avocado with pasta. As pictured below with some coleslaw on the side. This was such a light easy meal to make and totally yummy! (Any case you want to make it, just boil some pasta and mash some avocado, mix together tada).
Frying vegetable in low fat oil such as fry light or some coconut oil has been totally fun. This was a green day for myself (picture on the top) and the picture below is when I wanted to go all out in colours! In the picture below I added some kidney beans and some tomato sauce. Possibly so yummy!

It's a slow start, but all this experimenting has been fun.

Deep in the sea.

Hello World.

Painting and drawing is an old hobby of mine that I would like to see come alive once more.
Over the past few days, my need to escape has been huge. Writing and drawing have been a huge help.

Madness comes pouring down

Hello World,

I love the rain. I have witness there are two types of people when it rains, the ones that are calm. They carry on with their usual business or wait under shelters and watches it pass. Then there are the ones that are aggressive, they curse the rain, they run in it for heavens bid it ruins their day. They cause the madness in the air as they escape from it.

Then there is me, a rare secret third type of human. The ones that love the rain, the one that will take their time and listen to every drop it makes, whether it be on the ground, on the leaves or on their umbrella. The one that feels the freshness and calamity the rain creates. The rare third type of human who smiles at the beauty mother nature has blessed and fed us.

If the colours does or does not match.

Hello World,

I'm one of those people who love Japan. Yes, I did the whole anime culture (you can tell with my Studio Ghibli phone case), but what I love most about Japan is the art and the history. The Geisha girls and their Kimonos. So when I saw this little silk blazer in Primark a couple of years ago, I fell in love.
It has been in my closet for so long because I never knew what to wear it with. Today however I felt confident and matched with this Primark strip tee and Topshop Joni jeans. Straightening my hair for the added touch.

What I eat Wednesday!

Hello World,

Normally a post at the beginning of the month would be a monthly favourites. I actually started making a list today because I am completely in shock that we are now in July. I feel as if I have been living in auto-pilot, which is not a good thing at all.

Lately, I have been obsessed with food! For over the past three years or more,  I have been eating pretty much the same thing. Being a vegetarian and hardly motivation to cook for yourself after a days work, can lead to being repetitive and boring. I recently have been looking for new inspiration online to try out new foods, that is easy to make and incredibly yummy! Also healthy, I have been having some major body insecurities that should be saved for another blog post. Many post I have read and YouTube videos I have seen have already given me so much inspiration. Niomi Smart being one of them, she seems to make some great things and it is so easy to make as well. I suggest checking her out if you haven't.
All this new found inspiration has actually given me the motivation and I have tried some new things. Such as; new vegetables I wouldn't even think of buying and cooking my usually brought vegetables in a new way!
This is turning into such a fun experience for me, that I want to start sharing with you, what I eat. I'll do a post on any new creativity and experience plus my own and the original recipes. (I tend to use recipes and tweak them).
This idea is to also help you gain some inspiration and also for my own gain. I kind of want a place to remind myself the fun it is to cook outside the thinking box.
