Hello World,
I cannot believe that I was organised this time and I'm actually doing a favourite Blog post a day before the end of the month.
May has been a crazy month for me, I left an old and started a new one. My body has been going crazy trying to get used to this extra hour in bed and not having to drive so far now. It has also been emotionally tiring, getting used to a new job, new routine and mainly new people. When going through a change like this, it does make you miss the people you have been with, but I know for the long run it was for the best.
Here is my May favourites:
Laini Taylor; Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy had to make the May favourites, only because they have been so fantastic to read the last few months and I am still in that little world.
Mugs: I am not a tea or coffee drinker (with the only exception from a coffee shop), but I have always been in love with mugs. It's becoming a common thing recently for people to show of their mugs collection and I for one do have a pretty low collection. These two mugs are however two of my favourites. The small pink polka dot one is new from the last couple of weeks and I have been enjoying hot chocolate and green tea in them!
Pen: I'm a writer and this pen was a present to me. When I first used it, I immediately fell in love with it.
Shoe: With the money I saved from not commuting, I was able to treat myself to a pair of new shoes! These brown pumps are from New Look, and even though they still need wearing in, I am completely in love with how they look on my feet!
Vaseline: It is a part of my morning and night time routine where I put Vaseline on my lips, to prevent them from over drying and becoming chapped. Being someone who has been using lip balm on my lips for so many years, I have always found Vaseline to be the most reliable and helpful product, that can sort out any chapped lips.
Tea Tree, night moisturiser and toner from The Body Shop: I have been using the toner for a long time and I am still loving the way it makes my skin feel and the smell is just amazing. Some reason I am obsessed with the smell of tea tree. The night time moisturiser has been a product where I leave and always come back to! It helps the oily areas I have on my face and I love waking up to a fresh feeling face.

Summer...
Hello World,
There is no way I'll call myself a photographer. However recently nature has been finding itself very beautiful lately and I can't help to take photos on my days walking.

Dreams of Gods and Monsters: Book Review #8
Hello World,
Oh My God, I have finally finished the last book to the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy. What a ride it has been for me. I know a lot of people will relate to me when I say this, but I got sucked right in. The characters became real and was around me, I wanted to become their friend. The storyline became so absorbing and Laini Taylor couldn't leave a chapter without a clift-hanger, it seemed to be her thing? I would naturally finish the chapter and be like "Are you fucking kidding me?" Which then progressed me to read another chapter and another chapter, and it still took me nearly two months to read it. There is still a reason, when I put it down I didn't pick it up for a while. I have been so busy the last month or so preparing for a new job mentally and physically.
So I would say this is more on the lines of Young Adult fiction, as it has that easiness to read to it. But still....
Allow me to catch you up. Akiva is a Seraphim, Karou is a human girl who was resurrected from a body of a Chimera. Seraphim and Chimaera have always been at war with each other, also defending their homes and their pride. Then one day Akiva and Karou met and love decides to bloom. They dream of a home together, a dream of where Chimaera and Seraphim can stop being at war with each other and live in harmony together. Add in Earth and some Stelians and you have an epic story to tell.
Laini Taylor has proven such a magnificent imagination and you can read it inside these three books. I particularly found it fascinating as to how she related two religions through these old story tale creatures. Like imagine how the Seraphim are Christians and the Chimera are Muslims, or the other way round (I know slightly out of context, but go with me here). Each side filled with high pride and each side constantly at each other necks with weapons and claws. I would like to think the Stelians are like Pagans or druids, they form a protection of the world they live in and work hard to maintain the protection, whilst the others just do battle with each other. Like the ending to the trilogy, it will be a long time for the religions to be at peace with each other.
These books has kind of made me want to study more into religions and also more into myths of fallen angels and more into other religious creatures.
If you are someone who is into Twilight or Hunger Games, I actually do recommend these books to you. Which is strange for me to say because I am not a fan of Twilight or anything to do with the Hunger Games, but I really did enjoy Laini Taylor version of romance and they was a great form of escaping the reality.

That Lemon thing?
Hello World,
Today, I wanted to catch up with you on how well the Warm Lemon water every morning was going.
So, I start the lemon water about two weeks ago now and I have notice some changes.
Today, I wanted to catch up with you on how well the Warm Lemon water every morning was going.
So, I start the lemon water about two weeks ago now and I have notice some changes.
- I am feel more energised. I will prepare the warm lemon water in a travel mug and drink it during my drive to work and normally by the time I have reached the working place I am more awake and ready. The energy also lasts me all day, I don't feel tired until I have gotten home and have finally sat down. This also include feeling more active when I attend gym classes.
- I was suffering from a small cold before I started drinking it and about three days after my head and any signs of being congested was gone. I felt clearer and more better in myself physically.
- It may sound strange, emotionally I felt better in myself. I have been feeling more positive and more happy with myself. Also, a lot of things have happened that has made me feel more happy, but since drinking the lemon water and going about my exercises and normal daily life. I haven't been clouded with negative thoughts.
I'm actually enjoying this Lemon Water and even though I was daunted over the fact of the taste. I have actually grown to like it. Also, with the positive changes I am definitely going to keep at it.

Summer planning, wish list.
Hello World,
Today, I have been reading into a lot of Summer planning/ wish lists. I thought, this sounds like a fun idea and as for someone who has always struggled with making summer really fun, I decided to join in on the bandwagon and create my own summer wish list/plans.
Go to a Festival: Oh wait? I'm already in with plans to go to Reading? Oh yeah! Well, the plan for that is for Christina and I to get some red framed heart shape sunglasses and rock out to some of the awesome bands. Also, I also want to explore with different hair styles on dry shampoo, engage research!
Go on as many Cycle rides; A couple of years ago I packed a small bag with my sketching pad, pens, pencils, reading book, camera and notebook. With this small bag, I took my bike and went for a cycle ride along the canal and it was one of the most relaxing and fulfilling adventure I've had. This summer I want to do it a few days. A little adventure each time.
To go on many picnics; Packing up the car with some friends and and find a neat place to eat or to just pack a tiny picnic with my art stuff and notebook and spend some time away and let my imagination run wild.
To actually spend a day at the beach; My mother would go barking mad for me putting this because, pretty much every year she likes to go to a seclusive beach and just chill out and I always turn my nose up on her. This year however, I actually do want to just go to a beach with my equipment and lots of sun cream and have a lovely day on the beach. I would also really like to overcome my fear of swimming in the sea. Wish me luck on that one and I'll let you know if I actually do overcome my fear.
To go running more; If I want to spend my day on the beach, I do need the feel good body for it.
Accept as many invites to BBQ and remind them that I am a vegetarian; I think I only went to one last year, so I am going to push myself and go to as many as I want to.
Create and blog about my ultimate summer wardrobe; I haven't been clothes shopping in over a year, generally because of my commuting to work. This time, I'm going to work on it, as well as trying to save for travelling. I've also signed myself up to Pinterest, so outfit ideas needed!
There is some of my summer plans, that I thought up on the spot. I'm actually a little bit excited for Summer now and can't wait to be doing some of these ideas!

Zesty Lemon.
Hello World,
It's morning and I'm still tired.
Lately I have been reading from other Bloggers about the positive health benefits from drinking warm Lemon water
I have heard that it is good at flushing out the toxins in your body and helps improve your digestive system. It also has been said that it can help with your complexion and it is also very good for your immune system. Some bloggers have said, since they have started the warm lemon water drink, they haven't had the common cold.
I have also read that it is a good source of calcium, magnesium and iron. For someone who doesn't eat meat or drink milk, I'm hoping to see some beneficial factors.
What I'm trying to say is that, I am about to embark on the warm lemon water diet. So, lets see what happens.

Ticking, time.
Hello World.
She lets the music fill the house as she stands up from the sofa. The music is spreading to every corner of the house and every fibre within his being as well as hers. She starts to sway around the room, he watches closely.
Her eyes are closed and her arms have finally reached the air, the hips sway within time of the music and he still watches closely. Turning away from him, her back towards him she continues to sway. There's something common about the way she moves, he thinks of the times he has been to night clubs and with the music blaring, the lights flashing and the bodies grinding to one sweating mush. Tonight however it's as if the music has slowed down and is slowly fading into the background. The lights are no longer flashing, they have been staged, just a spot light, a spot light just on her.
She turns her head and faces him, with her eyes open she motions for him to join her. Here they are both dancing around the sofa, not to the music but to the light mood that has filled the air. Each twirl has been made of happiness, each arm in the air, each shake of the hip has been made of a new found friendship.
Or? He has started to think of something else as he stops to stare at her dancing. Smiling and realising this is some new feeling he has succumb to. Could this actually be love?
Rose.
I have this place in my mind, that I like to escape too and lately a man has joined me. It might be my way saying I have been single for too long and I have finally succumb to loneliness. But either way, he is a welcomed company in my head.

Marching, Marching.
Hello World,
I forgot my oil the past couple of days.
The madness is seeping in, as the days go by.
I'm not following the crowd and their mindless natter.
I've even forgotten to keep up to date with the X Factor.
My husband is even thinking about ending it.
There is no children to think off.
The greatest secret of all,
My heart is beating,
My mind is in overdrive,
They hate it,
I love it.
So on Thursday it's that time to vote. I will still be trying to cast my vote.
But I'll still chasing those dreams that I can never afford. Thanks for that.
