Top Books of Last Year.

Hello World,

The numbers on my keyboard has finally seen better days and until I can buy a new computer or something to get the number buttons working, we are just not going to use numbers for now.

Did you all know I am apart of GoodReads?
You can follow me online there and keep up to on what I am reading. You can see so here..
GoodReads

Last Year was a big year of reading and in this post today I wanted to share with you the final books I have enjoyed last year..

  1. Into The Wild- This book is still possibly one of my favourite reads of all times. A story about man leaving the world behind and living in the wild. Away from society and democracy. This person shows courage and the story about the man living in the wild is still one that is inspiring for me.
  2. A Wild Sheep Chase- Anything I read of Murakami is amazing and generally inspiring. If it wasn't for a Murakami book, I would've never touch a Kafka book or anything. Like all of Murakami stories, it a tale about a person leaving his ordinary life for one of adventure and life changing events.
  3. Red Queen and Glass Sword- This is a perfect fantasy young adult story and I am really looking forward to read the next instalment. This is a tale about a woman changing the ways of the world she is living in. It's just my type of story, female changing the world.. Falling in love and also fantasy.
  4. On The Other Side- A romantic fairy tale about falling in love and finding each other again. I simply fell in love with Carrie Hope Fletcher and the way she decided to take this story. It was something I have never read before.
  5. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child- A huge Harry Potter fan here. Last year was a good year for Harry Potter fans, the release of this screenplay and show. The release of Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them. I was slightly in my element that I even re-read the first four Harry Potter books.
There you have it..

New Year..

Hello World,

So, I have been wanting to come back after my good two month break.  But when I come to this page my mind goes blank. I had no idea what I wanted to write or what I am going to continue writing about.
It was then I realised I had grown to comfortable in my comfort zone. People are OK with comfort zones. They even enjoy being there. I for one am someone who grows bored easily. Here I am, attempting to step outside my comfort zone and reopen my Little Corner to share books, ideas and general lifetime adventures.

Last year my mind kind of goes into a mental shut down with constant screaming, a lot has happened to the world we live in during that year. Although these changes are something I would never wish upon someone, we still have to stick our heads up high and ensure our voices remain loud.
I have spent a lot of time in fantasy worlds, in friends and with family. But I can easily say that last year, I just grew lazy. I wasn't challenging my mind enough. I wasn't sticking or voicing my beliefs as I should have been doing.

This year I haven't set myself any New Years Resolutions. I have only set myself one goal. That goal is to actually move out into home I can call mine. I also want to work hard with writing on here more regularly. Working hard in losing the weight I have gained. Working hard to be more creative, to be artistic and seeing more places.
I want to work to become a better person for myself and for others out there. I would like to encourage myself to become a voice on this page and develop a little corner for a dream that one day this world will be more equal in any form.
You'll be expecting more from here, as well as book reviews, book buys, mini adventures. I am hoping to use it as a place to write my mind.
