Rainbow Cupcakes.

Hello World,

For the first time ever this week, I sat down and watched The Great British Bake Off Comic Relief version. To anyone outside the United Kingdom, Comic Relief is a huge Charity that raises money for people in poverty and what not. We have a day, where we try to do a lot of fundraising and lots fun in hopes of raising lots of money for the charity.

The Great British Bake Off has been going on for a few years and I am pretty convince that this was not the first Comic Relief show they did. I'm not actually a TV watching type of person as of late. However that particular night, was after a very exhausting day and I really didn't want to do anything but let my mind go blank. It just so happen that my mother was watching that particular programme.

One of the cakes they made had given me that motivation to bake something of my own, hence the idea with thanks from Abbey Clancy: I decided to have a go at making my own batch of Rainbow Cupcakes.
Using the BBC/food website for the recipe, I managed to create my own failed rainbow cupcakes.

This is actually my second batch of attempting. The first batch was incredibly runny and didn't rise. I then realised that I forgot to add the Baking Powder.. Oops

The food colouring didn't come out as bright enough than I would have liked. Which is all down to Asda own brand and not enough drops. Besides the lack of colouring and the rainbow pattern, as soon as I started eating one I was amazed with myself! They actually tasted really good! Like Baking shop edible standard, just a shame about the look.
