This morning I tested out a new Lush product. After a good workout at the gym and a house to myself, I thought this was the perfect opportunity for a Lush bath. I know, I know; my last Blog post was a Lush product review and I haven't managed to write anything else. Truth is I've had an exhausted week! And with reasons I cannot go into, I'll be leaving it at that. I will however be working towards time and being able to Blog more.
So, the Titsy Totsy!
From reading their website, Lush said this was inspired by a Medieval Love Potion. Using floral scents to lift your spirits or mend your broken hearts.
From reading the instructions, it describes itself as a love potion, putting it into your bath as you think of a loved one and then just bath in the aromas.
I find the medieval era very interesting, pagan beliefs from the Somerset land. The natural remedies, clothing, art and architecture. A little bit of a believer in the natural making of a potion, but also someone who is quite against the idea of a love potion. Seeing as it was from a huge business such as Lush, I can clearly identify it can't be that true? I did humour myself, as I released the bath bomb I thought of a romance I would ideally like to have. The Bath Bomb itself fizzes beautifully and released some actual rose buds, this made the bath exceptional. I don't like seaweed, but the roses was a lovely welcome and it made me feel like I was in a Japanese baths.
I loved it. There are some person who are not a fan of bathing in flowers and then there are some people who are not a big fan of using glitter in their baths. I am a flower person and most certainly not a glittery person.
Whilst I was bathing, I found my imagination went soaring. A young immortal woman was in a Celtic bath filled with roses and buds, (Celtic music, that I was playing alongside. Helped with the inspiration) as she has just finished a night with her human lover and who is also a guard for the human king. This human lover had to go and fight a war with demons. Roses was their scent for their love.
Another imagination of mine was, something I am writing independently. So I won't be sharing with you at the very moment!
If you have tried out this Bath Bomb, let me know what you think. If there any other Bath Bombs that you think relates to this and I would enjoy, let me know.
Rose.
