Hello World,
This evening I want to share my thoughts on a book I have read recently. The Peculiar Life of a Lonely Postman; this book was very interesting to read. It's about a Postman (in case the title wasn't a hint enough), who start intercepting love poems or in other words Haiku from a woman. Falling head over heels for this woman and starts becoming absorbed in the letters and making a way to correspond with the woman. Without giving away spoilers, as I think you all should read the books I write about on this Blog and give your own opinion on the book.
I personally thought the storyline was a bit typical and repetitive. But the way the book ended, it needed a repetitive style towards it. Enso, the perfect word for it. What really got me into the book, was the author's style of writing. When reading a fair few books, you become familiar with the author's style of writing. Some authors are very similar to other authors and other authors has their own take on their writing, or you can say a mixture of many different authors. This particular author; Denis Thériault seemed to have his own style of writing. Or could it be, I haven't come across another author who writes similar to him.
Tonight, I am just babbling. But I hope you enjoyed reading this! Until next time!
Rose
